Mr. Ellis Petit is a dedicated personal injury attorney serving individuals across Florida with unwavering commitment and expertise. Deeply rooted in his community and connected to his Haitian heritage, Ellis brings a unique blend of compassion and professionalism to his legal practice. His journey began in Palm Beach County, where he grew up after his family moved from Haiti when he was three years old.

Ellis career path reflects a dedication to helping others. A graduate of Lake Worth High School, he initially pursued a career in emergency services, earning certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician, firefighter, and paramedic from South Technical Educational Center and Palm Beach Community College. Over his tenure with the City of Lake Worth Fire Rescue, St. Lucie County Fire District, and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, Ellis gained invaluable experience in emergency response and patient care, which enhances his compassionate approach to personal injury law.

After transitioning from emergency services, Ellis completed a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since 2014, he has successfully represented clients in a wide range of personal injury cases, including soft tissue injuries, surgical cases, and wrongful death claims. From pre-suit negotiations to litigation, Ellis offers a comprehensive understanding of injury law, coupled with a genuine concern for his client’s well-being.

Ellis’ approachable nature and dedication to addressing clients’ concerns have earned him their trust and confidence. He is also an active volunteer with the Guardian ad Litem program for Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit, where he advocates for neglected and abused children.

In his free time, Ellis enjoys traveling, reading, photography, fishing, and recharging in the great outdoors. His passion for service and balance in life fuels his commitment to making a positive impact on his community and clients.
